Will you be ready to lead your children, when they rebel? They are going to do it, if you like it or not. They are going to get high, either on drugs or on endorphins. Which one would you prefer?
Here’s the point, because I know that your time is precious.
Humane nature is a very powerful force. Over the last 2000 years people have tried to harness it, but it just keeps on rolling. The point and question is, are you investing enough time and interest into your children that when that time comes they will be able to look at you and feel that you are an ally or a foe? How much time have you spent with your children this week, and I don’t mean talking about sports stats. I mean, do you know who their favorite teacher is. Have talked with their teacher?
They are going to rebel, period.
