No, my mind is not in the gutter. It has been said that success happens when no one is watching. Here is what I think sets the people apart that make it in a home based or web based business, and those who don’t, and it’s not any secret at all, you have probably hear it time and time again.
“Do the work”. “Do the work”. “Do the work”. “Do the work”.
The flip side to this equation is apathy. It is so much easier to kick back and watch the ball
game with some friends or go back into the professional studying mentality on the net, observing how everyone else is making money, then 3 months later you have gotten nowhere and you decide to bag it, cause it’s all a scam, right?
Are you staying in the fight or continuously backing off to look for an easier way?
If you visualize your confidence as a brick wall, sturdy as can be. As you pursue your
business ventures facing and over coming self imposed adversity and fear, you reinforce
the brick wall. And it gets stronger and stronger.
But the opposite is true as well.
While you are working on your process and no one is watching,, you have mental battles
with yourself. “Ya, I could call that contact, or lead and present them with the business
model, but they probably would not be interested”. “No, I can make the call, and maybe
they won’t pick up the phone”. Or “if they do pick up the phone they might eventually
hang up on me, I’ll just send them an email, and follow up later”.
These kind of thought’s and inaction’s, begin to chip away and crack at that brick wall,
until it falls down and turns into a pile of sand.
It’s all 90% attitude and 10% details, we have all heard it, but it is so true.
You are in charge of your business and your frame of mind.
Do the work and see what happens.
