So what do think the one thing you have control of to prepare your business for hard times?
The answer is…..YOU.
You are designed as an individual to never stop learning. Kind of contrary to our government
educational systems, were you get a degree and out the door you go.
On the average people barly read anything that will challenge their
thinking after that. They will spend 4-6 years studying for a degree
and all of about 15 minutes choosing the financial route they will take.
Sometimes it’s a refferal from a friend or associate to work at
their office or factory. 15 years later they are still there. Why?
They never developed on ongoing learning mindset, and they would
rather trade security over opportunity. Tell, me. Is there really
any security? The saying goes the only constant is change and it
is absolutely true.
The point is, in order to really recession proof your home business
you have to constantly be training you mind to be able to shift at the drop of
hat with confidence, and re-evaluate your business model and adapt
or scrap the one your in currently without getting emotionally
involved. Once you have mastered getting out of your own way and trying
to do everything yourself, by hiring specialists in a certain field, you
can set up your systems and move around no matter what happens to the
rest of the world.
The reality is that that you and I, and everyone around you are either
going into, going through, or coming out of some kind of challenge.
In this day and age when political candidates and media talking heads
are openly atacking and demonizing business they forget that the the real
hero of our economy is the idividauls and entrapreneurs that stand for ideas
ambition and self reliance and they move on it.
